wildest Sh*t // Amazon Music series

I was brought on as a motion designer and illustrator for Amazon Music’s five episode series, as a way to promote their array of comedian podcasts. The series involved a heavy post production lift, with constant graphics, animation, and quick editing. In each video, I worked to create and animate a vast array of wild scenes, from Michael Blaustein as melting lasagna, to a shoot out in Columbus, to Bob the Drag Queen performing for crickets.

Along with a wide spectrum of full screen graphics, I also worked to create dynamic text animations integrated seamlessly into the comedian’s performance. I was able to stretch my VFX skills as well, keying and molding footage of comedians into a cohesive theme across all videos.

We created social first versions for each comedian and Amazon Music to share, as well as a longer widescreen version for youtube, compiling each video together with new scenes. In the end, Amazon music signed onto a second season after the success of the launch of the first few videos.
